Surveys
A survey is carried out to determine and inform the owner - or potential owner - of the condition of the vessel. This can be for a range or reasons and can range from limited parts of the vessel up to surveying the entire vessel and conducting sea trials.

What we offer
Boland Marine offers a variety of surveys, each tailored to fulfil a different requirement:
-
Pre Purchase survey: This give the potential buyer an overview of the condition of the vessel in order to ensure the vessel being purchased is as advertised. A Pre Purchase survey will often include a haul out to check the underwater section as well as a sea trial to ensure the vessel operates as intended.
-
Insurance Survey: A survey carried out to determine the condition of a vessel, with the intention of submitting this report to the insurance company to comply with their Terms and Conditions.

-
Condition survey: A Condition Survey captures the condition of the vessel at a point in time for the owner.

-
Damage survey: Is usually required to capture the nature and extent of damage after a vessel has been involved in an incident.
